I would say visiting rethink centre gave me a different approach when it comes throwing things out and I actually got a lot better reusing things that my mum was going to throw away because we couldn't use them for their original purpose or she was going to burn it.

The Rethink Centre
In week 3 of the term 3 the senior school visited the rethink centre to learn about what happens rubbish once it gets picked up by the garbage truck and what do with things we think about throwing something away. I think that it's important that we learn how to be better people for our environment because we are the future for our world so we need to learn how to take care of it.

Kia ora Emma,
ReplyDeletethis is a quality blog post - I especially like the way you wrote about the change this leanring has had for you at home.
You made me think about what I throw away and I am looking carefully at what could be reused.

Well done, Emma.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great idea to show young people ( and older people would benefit from it too) what happens with our garbage.
