This week I was learning how to use pastels for blending and use paintbrushes to make feathers for my owl collage. We had the option to make either a cat, a dog or an owl and I was the only person who made an owl. I thought that everyone's was amazing. I loved how creative everyone got with the eye colours for their animals and how realistic they looked when they were finished and on the background.
Hello Emma my name is Kezia in Room 25 at Owairaka school and really like this post about Animal Collage. It looks so cool. I would really like to try this because it looks fun. How long did it take you to make it?

Kia ora Emma,
ReplyDeletethis art is very striking. It is bold and colourful. Are you able to edit your post and tell us a bit more about how you made it - the materials you used and what you did first, second etc.
The eyes and nose are fantastic. How did you get them to look so real?
MAybe you could edit the photos - make them their original size and crop them so they don't look squished and out of proportion. Remember if you are resizing images use the corner handles to make them smaller or bigger.
